Short for zylonite, the trademark name for cellulose acetate; originates from a natural fiber, cotton; one of the most versatile of all plastic frame materials and the most commonly used; frames are milled from blocks of zyl, which come in an enormous variety of colors and patterns; lacquer coatings help prevent yellowing or discoloring from ultraviolet light or skin contact; can be stretched or shrunk for lens insertion with a moderate amount of heat. All frames are carefully handmade, using precision cutting and grinding machinery according to high quality standards. Detailed manufacturing procedures combined with high level craftsmanship are the basics of successful development, design and production of either optical frames or reading glasses. Optical Frames are fitted with demo lens plus customer logo printing and additional custom designed cardboard. Reading Glasses can be supplied with standard lens or super planar thin lens technology, which reduces the weight of lens by 25% and increases wearing comfort.  The well known Italian Mazzucchelli raw material is the base of high fashion and durable optical eyewear and meets the high international optical industry standards. Carefully chosen metal components are additional necessary to reach modern and high quality eyewear levels. A wide range of sunglasses is made by our factory using the fashion-zyl material as well as different shades in a variety of specific made lens treatment. Our on vogue material *double layer, triple layer" is an amazing palette of our "medici series", an interesting design of half-rim optical frames in a circular appeal.
